Jason Russell

Jason R. Russell is a versatile IT professional with extensive experience in desktop support, infrastructure management, and technical troubleshooting. He has supported large-scale operations for organizations such as Caterpillar and Ameren, consistently delivering reliable IT solutions across diverse environments.

Currently serving as a System Administrator at Caterpillar, Jason manages and maintains a wide range of devices including Zebra scanners, iPads, and PCs. He is also responsible for configuring network switches and access points, performing software updates, and resolving technical issues across the facility. His experience also includes setup and configuration of POS systems, including SkyTab Shift4 and other POS platforms, ensuring seamless integration and functionality for business operations.

With over a decade of hands-on experience, Jason has provided both on-site and remote support, managed IT infrastructure across multiple locations, and contributed to CAD design and manufacturing processes. His technical skill set includes Windows OS, Active Directory, HTML5, C#, Java, and various networking tools. He holds additional certifications such as ITIL4 and Dell hardware support outside of the standard certifications.

Jason pursued an Associate of Applied Science in Information Technology – Networking at Purdue University and has additional training in Computer Network Administration and Mechanical Drafting. He is known for his professionalism, adaptability, and strong communication skills, making him a valuable asset in any IT-driven environment.
